COMMON FAULTS WITH AN INVERTER

SPD FAULT
The inverter was struck by lightning, causing damage to the internal lightning protection components. Urgent repair is required to avoid further damage.

After receiving your request, technical staff will inspect, repair and replace damaged components in the inverter equipment directly at the project. If your inverter encounters an error that is too serious to be repaired immediately or there are not enough components to replace on the spot, the inverter repair unit will bring it back for repair within the time agreed upon with the customer. While waiting for repair, the repair unit can lend customers a replacement inverter if the capacity of that type is available. Take-home repair services will often cost less than on-site repair services.
Step 1: Receive customer’s Inverter repair request. Then go to the inverter’s reception site to preliminarily check the actual situation, record errors and prepare a repair receipt with full information about the product.
Step 2: Clean the inside and outside of the inverter, circuit board, components and inverter parts to check details and assess damage.
Step 3: Information on damage level, repair time, and price to customers.
Step 4: Repair the inverter and replace components (if necessary). After repair, re-check the inverter, measure parameters, evaluate quality, apply power and try operating again. If everything is completed, notify the customer of the repair results and the handover time to the customer.
Step 5: Handover to customers, support installation and acceptance. Advise customers to use or improve the system to avoid repeat errors.
